Welcome To Eat Like A Native! Print E-mail
Welcome to our site!
In our home State of Louisiana, we are “all about the food”. It permeates every part of our daily life. We do not eat to live. We live to eat. And when we are not eating, we are thinking about what we will be eating. Or where we will be eating. Or where we have not yet eaten but can’t wait to try out.
If we are not cooking for our family and friends you may find us at some of the greatest restaurants in the world. We walk out our front door to a variety of dining venues unrivaled by any other area. We have more restaurants per capita than any other state in the union.
We truly celebrate our culture through food and when we travel, we look for those great spots where the locals do the same. Not the multitude of chain restaurants conveniently located at the bottom of the interstate ramp but the often missed spots where the area natives celebrate their culture.
We have chosen to celebrate those places with our new website. Eatlikeanative.com is dedicated to the discussion of food. More specifically, it is a celebration of your favorite places wherever you are. We are starting here in Louisiana and building out from there. We want to know where you ate, what you had, was it good, how was the service, would you go back …… you get the message. It’s all about the food.
Traveling out of town? Our forum will be searchable. If you want the best Asian food in Austin or the best burger in Boston, find a native’s opinion!
We are building a community of food lovers who crave those locations the natives hold dear, a network of people willing to enthusiastically share their favorites.
Welcome and we invite everyone to share their opinion
